Payment details step-by-step

The Head Delegate is responsible for making the payment, so it is his/her responsibility to gather the money of his/her delegation. AMUN fees are non-refundable. That being said, Delegates must have sure of the possibility of receiving leather cases, paying CSEP (see information below) and paying one or two installments before performing AMUN participation payment.

Step 1: Choosing fees

1.1. Participation fee per delegate:

The payment should be made in 1 (one) or in 2 (two) installments. If paid in 1 (one) installment, the total participation fee per delegate (without optional CSEP and leather cases) amounts to R$150,00 (one hundred fifty reais). If paid in 2 (two) installments, the total participation fee per delegate (without optional CSEP and leather cases) amounts to R$155,00 (one hundred fifty reais). Therefore, delegations willing to pay in one installment will receive a discount of R$5,00 (five reais).

1.2. Complementary fees:

1.2.1.     Leather cases

Following the principles of sustainability and minimum harm of the environment, major concerns of this edition, delegates willing to receive leather cases will have to pay a charge. Ecological Bags (Ecobags), designed exclusively for AMUN, will be available to every delegate, without a payment fee. While filling out the payment form (see step 3), Head Delegates will be asked about how many delegates wish to receive leather cases which will be available for R$ 15,00 (fifteen reais) to be paid together with the 1st installment. The production costs of leather cases are equal to R$ 15,00 (fifteen reais).

1.2.2.      Cultural and Social Events Package (CSEP).

The cultural and social events package concerns optional activities not included in AMUN participation fee. While filling out the registration form, Head Delegates will be asked about how many delegates wish to buy the CSEP prior to the conference which will be sold by R$ 50,00 (fifty reais) to be paid the half – R$25,00 (twenty-five reais) - with the 1st installment and half – R$25,00 (twenty-five reais) - with the 2nd installment. The cultural and social events package will also be sold during the conference for R$ 60,00 (sixty reais).

Step 2: Paying

The deadlines for paying and sending payment receipt (see step 3) are specified below:

One installment: R$ 150,00 (hundred forty-five reais). Final deadline for sending the scanned deposit receipt (see step 3): June 19th.

First installment: R$ 80,00 (seventy-five reais) per delegate. Final deadline for sending the scanned deposit receipt (see step 3): June 19th.

Second installment: R$ 75,00 (seventy-five reais) per delegate. Final deadline for sending the scanned deposit receipt (see step 3): July 5th.

For delegations willing to pay in 2 (two installments), the payment of optional leather cases must be done together with the 1st installment and CSEP (see step 1) must be done half – R$25,00 (twenty-five reais) - with the 1st installment and half – R$25,00 (twenty-five reais) – with the 2nd installment.

Step 3: Sending your payment receipt

After paying, the Head Delegate must download the payment form that is available at the bottom of this subsection. He/she must send this form proper and completely filled out, with the following format, in the email subject: “payment details (complete name of Head Delegate)”. In the next step of the form, delegates must fill out the information requested, which are: i) number of delegates in your delegation; ii) delegates willing to receive leather cases; iii) delegates willing to purchase CSEP (see step 1); iv) number of installments; v) total value. It is imperative that the Head Delegate specify the name and institution (university) of each member of his/her delegation, him/her included. Also, he/she must specify which delegates will desire the CSEP (see step 1). These information are required by AMUN staff to proportionate better control of the demands and better care of the needs of every delegate. Below the last field (“payment receipt”), the Head Delegate must attach the scanned payment receipt of the delegation.

Within a 72-hour period, the Head Delegate will be notified that the deposit slip has been received and his/her participation in AMUN will be confirmed.
